Jagruti Bank is now ranking as “one of the leading & fast growing ” Urban Co-operative Banks in the State of Telangana. The Bank has attained this premier position due to the confidence reposed by the esteemed members and customers in the Management of the Bank on the one hand and running the Bank on sound principles without compromising with the spirit of Co-operative Principles and by strict compliance to the Directives issued by the Reserve Bank of India from time to time .

The motto of the Bank is  to extend a “better quality” of customer service and to assimilate and implement innovative methods with a firm commitment to achieve its goals.

The Total Business of the Bank has reached Rs.44.20 crores as on 31/03/2023 consisting of Rs. 25.40 crores of Deposits and Rs.18.80 crores of advances assimilate and implement innovative methods with a firm commitment to achieve its goals. Due to introduction of CBS the customers are extended with uninterupted Banking services from 9.00 a.m to 4.00 p.m on all working days.

Genesis

On June 4th 1999 a group of eminent people assembled in Vayupuri and decided to start a Co-operative bank by raising a share capital of Rs. One Crore from 2000 share holders. As a result Jagruti Co-operative Urban Bank was formulated at Vayupuri and inaugurated on 14th August 2000.

Main principles of the Bank were good customer service, transparent management and helping the economically weaker section in improving their financial state by providing loans for self employment schemes.

Bank is located on the main road of Vayupuri which is adjacent to Sainikpuri. It is in between Defence Colony, Neredmet X Roads. The aim of the bank is to extend quality service and develop confidence in the minds of customers.

Jagruti Bank is licensed by Reserve Bank of India vide its permission no AP 29 P and Register of Co-operative societies vide its registration number Tb 532 dated 11.07.2000.

The Jagruti Co-operative Urban Bank Limited is located in a well developed commercial and residential area of Vayupuri, Near Sainikpuri bus stop. The Bank is graded as “A” grade Bank and it is being managed by Ex-army, Air Force officers, experienced business persons and ex-Bankers. The Bank has been functioning without compromising the spirit of co-operative principles, while at the same time striving to assimilate and implement newer methods of work organisation and management, with a firm commitment to its objectives.

Jagruti Bank presently has single unit Bank in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad and planning to Open another 2 Branches.

Registration and Commencement of operations of Bank

The Jagruti Co-operative Urban Bank Ltd. (popularly known as Jagruti Bank) was registered as a Primary Co-operative Urban Bank on 12th June,2000. The Bank has commenced its operations on 14th August,2000.
